So, today was supposed to be about studying the Intellectual laws of property. Instead, I spent all evening in this highly shady bar, debating politics and discussing philosophy with a strangely random, yet interesting, group of people.
It’s really late now, and I’m tired and exhausted, but despite all of that, I feel younger than I have for months! Anyway, I just wanted to lay out some of the thoughts running through my head.
1. Individual human life means nothing unless seen in context of the collective.
2. Sartre talks about how all context of human happiness and pride is relative.
3. The Tragedy of Man. (About how collective human life is doomed to failure and despair, but God has balanced it out in terms of individual happiness. Trust and Strive.)
